Reflective Foil Insulation (RFI):
Aluminium coated Fabric with fibreglass or building paper cone

Rafter:
A sloping member in a roof providing the principle structural support for the roofing material

Reinforcements:
Rods, Bars or prefabricated mesh, usually of steel, embedded in concrete for the purpose of resisting particular stresses and strengthening the concrete element

Reinforced concrete:
Concrete which has been strengthened by the inclusion of steal reinforcing mesh, bars or rods

Retaining Wall:
Structural wall element usually designed by a Civil Engineer to hold back soil

Roofs:
The upper enclosing element of a building or area which gives protection to the covered space from the external environment

Roof Batten:
A light timber member fixed to the tops of rafters or trusses to which the roofing materials may be fastened or secured
